The Royesh Sabz Farda Horticultural Research and Technology Center (PISTAT) has launched its Economic and Commercialization Department in December 2024. This initiative aims to develop and enhance the necessary technologies for the horticulture sector, improve productivity, expand consulting services, and address the need for skilled workforce training.
Key actions of this department include the establishment of new orchards, such as pistachio, olive, blueberry, and ginger, as well as providing expert consultation to enhance the performance of existing orchards.
