Haj Akbar Nazari was born in 1924 in the village of Karimabad, Rafsanjan, Iran. His father, Agha Ali, was a hardworking and reputable man, and his mother, Khadijeh, hailed from a noble lineage, known for her kindness and generosity. He obtained a solid education both from school and his parents. During his younger years, he pursued his interest in trade. He addressed the needs of the people by transporting goods from the village to the city and vice versa. Initially, he used a donkey, later a bicycle, motorcycle, and eventually a car as a mean of transportation. He bought wisely and sold fairly, maintaining this practice for many years. Despite his growing business due to his evident faith, honesty, and the trust he quickly earned from people, the core principles of his work that was identifying needs, discovering opportunities, buying wisely, and selling fairly and promptly—remained unchanged and became more industrious and well-known over time. As the town was agricultural, producing cotton, wheat, and some pistachios, he eventually ventured into farming, buying land, planting, and cultivating it. His hard work led to hectares of pistachio orchards, a longstanding trade reputation, public trust, and benevolence towards people. In 1957, he married a girl from the Vosoughi family, they had four daughters and three sons, each distinguished in their own right. Although his trade was traditional, it was based on principles of honesty and integrity. Later, he ventured into exporting Iranian pistachios internationally, becoming one of the first pistachio exporters in the country. His benevolent intentions resulted in the construction of several schools, mosques, libraries, and other public works. His crowning achievement, after identifying the city’s need for a large public hospital, was the construction of the ' Ali Ibn Abi Talib' Hospital in partnership with his brother. This hospital became a beacon for the city, leading to the establishment of a medical school and university, providing employment for hundreds of general and specialized doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers. Haj Akbar's vision for educating future generations led to the establishment of the "Rahyar" school, which, with it’s modern educational system, is now considered one of the top schools in the country. His valuable life legacy, in addition to his good children, includes the city’s major hospital, an excellent school, and other philanthropic achievements, leaving a bright and illuminating path for his children and community members.
and today, NBG stands as his legacy.
Ultimately, on July 10, 2001, he departed this life, and he was laid to rest in his birthplace, in his eternal resting place.
